German brand Sonoro is the last word in high quality radios, CD players and accessories.  The company was founded in 2005 with the aim of transforming radios from drab plastic essentials to sensual design icons.  Curved corners, high gloss lacquers and wooden housings defined the first cubo radio which sold in 27 countries around the world. Fresh in this week is the latest creation from master chocolatier Amelia Rope – dark, pale and flavoured chocolate bars. Amelia made a name for herself with an exclusive range of crystallised flowers dipped in chocolate and decorated with gold or silver leaf but now everyone can indulge in a little luxury with these special bars. Each one is part of an edition, made in small batches, and is hand written with its edition number.

The handmade bars each weigh 100g –  larger than many other premium chocolate bars – and the outer sleeve keeps it fresher incase you don’t manage to eat the whole bar in one go. All the bars are gluten free.  Dark Editions are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and the Pale Editions suitable for vegetarians.  Flavours include Mandarin, Spearmint, Lemon and Sea Salt and Rose at £5.60 per bar.

Just in time for Easter, comes our first delivery from ilovegorgeous – a beautiful range of individually designed dresses and separates for baby girls from 6 months to 3 years.

Ilovegorgeous was born out of owners Sophie and Lucys’ passion for textiles, colour, fashion and an inspirational trip to India, where they sourced their first hand-blocked prints, wonderful silks and cottons and pretty trimmings.

The baby range is made with crisp cottons in subtle shades of shell pink, clover blue and mauve.  Most dresses come with matching knickers and the Gladys play suit, with adorable co-ordinating bloomers.

Fresh in for Spring, we have a small range of bath mats, rugs and blankets from Pappelina, Swedish designers of simple, functional and high quality homewares.

Founder/designer Lina Rickardsson starting making rugs using linen, sacking and paper – hence the name of her company, Pappelina.  She stumbled upon plastic as a rug material when looking around for a weavery to manufacture her first bulk order of linen rugs.  There she found stocks of plastic cuts from the 1960s that proved inspirational and lead to the design of her first plastic rug.

Pappelina’s modern plastic rugs are made from PVC plastic and polyester warp, and are surprisingly soft, supple and warm to the touch.  They are machine washable at 30 degrees.

We have the Vera and Viggo bathmats (70 x 90cm) in grey and nougat at £50 and Viggo long rugs (180 x 230cm) in a brown, vanilla and grey mix at £102.

Lina’s latest extension to her range is blankets made from 50% wool and 50% cotton chenille, which can be hand washed or dry-cleaned.  The Vera design in cream and nougat is £125.
